LEBANON, Maine - Douglas J. "Pig Man" Shave, 63, passed away November 1, 2025, at Wentworth Douglass Hospital following a period of failing health.
Born December 18, 1961, in Dover, NH he was the son of the late Edward and Ethel (Boston) Shave.
Doug was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming especially breeding and raising pigs, but above all he loved spending time with his family.
Members of his family include his children Crystal Carey and husband Wade of Chelmsford, MA; Michael Shave of Rye, NH; and Mindi Shave of Lebanon, ME; his grandchildren Damion, Eva, Connor and Madison, his siblings Edward Shave, Jr, Tommy , Lester and Paul Hendrickson, Wendy Shave Pack, Susan Avery, Jeanie Haley, Tina Boucher and Brenda Perkins and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two children, Mark Josselyn and Mandy Shave.
