DOVER, N.H. - The Bay State woman who allegedly drove to Massachusetts with Mark Ross to score drugs that ultimately led to the death of 17-year-old Eve Tarmey was brought back to New Hampshire on Tuesday and arrested for charges connected to her death.
Leslie Aberle, 31, of High St. Salisbury, Mass., was transported back to New Hampshire and brought to the Strafford County Jail where she was arrested on charges including felony conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled drug, felony tampering with witnesses and informants and dispensing controlled drug, death resulting, which could mean life in prison.
Aberle refused bail on the charges and will be held at the Strafford County Jail until her video arraignment which is set for today at Rochester District Court.
Jazzmyn Rood, 41, of 11 Barker Court, Rochester, who along with Ross, Aberle and Tarmey were all inside Ross' Riviera Motel room the night Tarmey died, has also been charged in the case.
Rood, who is the mother of Tarmey, has been charged with misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child, felony conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled drug and felony reckless conduct placing another in danger.
Ross stands charged with felony dispensing of a controlled drug, death resulting, which has a maximum sentence of life in prison; felony conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled drug, felony tampering with witnesses and informants and two counts of falsifying physical evidence.
High bails are already in place on Ross and Rood, while Aberle's bail will be set today.
