A Berwick man who was arrested for allegedly leaving the scene of an accident on Carl Broggi Highway in December that left a Farmington woman injured has been indicted on several charges in connection with the case.

Ian R. Wilson II, 31, of 57 Keay Road, was also indicted by a York County grand jury for driving under the influence, aggravated assault, assault, and reckless conduct with a weapon, his car.

Wilson was taken into custody about 45 minutes after the Dec. 1 crash, which occurred near Stokewoods Drive.

Wilson is alleged to have been driving under the influence when he struck the woman’s SUV head-on, then fled the scene. The woman, who was traveling with her three children, was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries. Her children were unhurt.

Wilson has one previous OUI, according to State Trooper David Coflesky.
