Body found in Little Bay said to be Rochester man

NEWINGTON, N.H. - The body found in Little Bay on Monday is thought to be that of Dana Gilbert of Rochester.

Seacoast Online broke the story today.

Gilbert, 48, of Pinecrest Avenue, has been missing since April and was reportedly depressed.

No foul play is suspected.

Final confirmation is pending. An autopsy was scheduled to be performed Tuesday.

Gilbert's pickup truck was recovered in the parking lot of Newick's restaurant in Dover on April 7, according to police.

The report about a person floating in the bay was made to police at 7:24 a.m. Monday, Seacoast Online reported.
