ROCHESTER - Chester William Hubbard, 72, of McKinley St., died Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital.
Born December 30, 1943, in Rochester, N.H., he was the son of the late Philip and Margaret (Young) Hubbard.
Chester is a lifelong resident of Rochester. He was employed at Thompson Center Arms as a machinist for 33 years until he became ill. Chester also worked on the Rochester Fire department as a volunteer. He enjoyed RC cars and watching sports especially the Red Sox, Bruins and Patriots.
Members of his family include his son, Gary Hubbard and his wife Tracy of Belmont, N.H., his daughters; Wendy Byrd and her husband Wayne of Sanbornville, and Dawn Page and her husband Jeff of Rochester, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son Glenn Hubbard, his brothers: Ralph Hubbard and Cecil Hubbard two sisters Alberta Paquette and Alyceann Maciver.
