LEBANON - The condition of the Lebanon man involved in a horrific accident with a tractor trailer in East Lebanon on Wednesday has been upgraded to fair. Luke Fleurant's condition was upgraded from serious overnight, with a nursing supervisor saying the 33-year-old "seems to have turned a corner." Fleurant was driving a pickup truck on Wednesday when he pulled out onto Route 202 from Maple Street and was struck by a semi tractor trailer around 8:40 a.m. He had to be cut out of the mangled pickup and was Medflighted to Maine Medical Center where he remained in serious condition until today.

The semi was operated by Glenn Kimball, 59, of Berwick, who was not injured. Meanwhile, a gofundme page has been set up to help Fleurant, who works as a service technician at Robertson's Power and Sport in Sanford.
Fleurant also has a girlfriend, Kendra with whom he has a young daughter. To donate to the gofundme page click here.
