ROCHESTER - The 8th Annual Amateur Photography Show will begin accepting photos this week.
Photo intake will be at the First United Methodist Church, 34 South Main St. in Rochester on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.
The Reception and Awards Night will be held on May 14 at 7 p.m. at the church.
Photography categories include Scenic, People, Animals, Juvenile (age 12 and under) and Youth (age 13-19) and Miscellaneous.
Photos will be judged by professional photographers Don Chick, Jared Plante and Jean Wozniak. Photos will be displayed at the Methodist church after judging is completed.
