ROCHESTER - First Church Congregational United Church of Christ is presenting a fundraiser called "Shower the Church" throughout the year until Dec. 31.

They are seeking donations to help cover the costs of maintaining the building for all who enter the space. Many organizations share the space for their meetings including, Alcoholics Anonymous, Girl Scouts of America, Granite State Choral Society, Dover Adult Learning Center, Narcotics Anonymous, SOS Recovery Community Organization, Take Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS), and Transgender Outreach.

In addition to the "Shower the Church" jar every Sunday after Worship, donations can be made directly to the church office, by mail, or online at http://www.first-ucc.net/donate.
