ROCHESTER - A Farmington man has been arrested in a pair of East Rochester robberies that occurred within 10 days in April.

Nathan R. Therrien, 26, of 29 White Birch Lane, was arrested on Wednesday after an officer spotted him on the footbridge that runs from the Pines to Dewey Street.

Rochester Police had issued arrest warrants on Therrien on Tuesday after a weeks-long investigation into the robberies.

The robberies occurred April 8 at the Highland Street Dunkin Donuts and April 18 at Highland Street Convenience at Shoreyville Plaza.

Therrien was charged with two counts of robbery, both Class B felonies that carry up to seven years in prison apiece if convicted.

Therrien was held on $50,000 cash bail and will be arraigned at Strafford Superior Court later today.
