Staff Reports
ROCHESTER - A city man led police on a brief foot chase on Thursday after police pulled him over for a faulty license plate light. Michael Conrad, 37, ran from his car in the parking lot of the Stop N Go Deli on Route 125 around 8:15 p.m. after police pulled him over. With the help of a K9 unit, police caught up with Conrad a half hour later on Old Dover Road, according to a Northeast Fire Alerts website. Conrad told police he fled due to an outstanding bench warrant from another town. He was charged with two misdemeanors - disobeying an officer and resisting detention - as well as driving after suspension and driving without proof of insurance.
