Firefighters make quick work of Oak Street blaze

LEBANON - A Lebanon home was damaged after a fire broke out in its ceiling early today.

Lebanon Fire Department crews arrived at a mobile home at 61 Oak St. soon after the call came in around 12:30 a.m., and found fire spreading from the ceiling, according to Assistant Fire Chief Dan Roy.

He said firefighters quickly put out the fire. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

Lebanon Rescue transported one patient for unknown injuries. Central Maine power also responded.

Crews remained at the scene until 2 a.m. cleaning up water damage.
