ROCHESTER - A free community skating event will be held at the Rochester Ice Arena on March 16 from 2-4 p.m. with skates available on a first-come, first-served basis.

After skating, Rochester Fire & Police will face off against Spaulding High School Alumni in a charity hockey game that goes from 4-6 p.m.

Donations of snacks and single-serve food items for the SHS Raiders Pantry are welcome. The event is sponsored by Granite Steak & Grill and Smoky's Tavern.

The event was scheduled earlier this month but postponed due to a snowstorm.
