ROCHESTER - For approximately three weeks starting on Sept. 29 the Rochester Public Works Department will be flushing hydrants from 11 p.m. through 7 a.m.

As a result of the flushing, some slight discoloration may be noticed in your water. Any discoloration should clear up within a few hours. Customers are urged to check their water before bathing or doing laundry during this time.

Customers may also experience low water pressure in some cases.

If residents have any questions or concerns, contact Rochester Public Works Department during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 332-4096.
