MILTON - Ida Frances (Hartford) Fernald died after a long illness Monday, November 16, 2015.
She was born in Danville, N.H., November 17, 1937. The daughter of Richard J. Hartford and Florence E. (Hill) Hartford .
She worked at Rochester Shoe and Clarostat Mfg for many years. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her family and friends.
Survivors include one son; Harry Cate and companion Joyce of Palmyra, Maine. One daughter; Carol Shannon and Husband Dennis of Milton, N.H.; one sister; Florence Emerson and companion Phillip of Rochester; and one brother, Robert Hartford and wife, Wilma, of Carthage, Maine; 12 grandchildren and many great-and great-great-grandchildren and her companion cat "Flossie".
She was predeceased by brothers: Franklin, Richard, Mitchell, James and Stanley.
