Joan M. Ladner ...longtime Rochester resident

ROCHESTER - Joan M. Ladner died Sunday, August 3, 2014 at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, after a period of failing health.

Joan was born in Chicopee Falls, Mass. on June 24, 1940, the daughter of Joseph and Evelyn (Tourville) Hardy and had been living in Rochester for the past 40 years, moving from Monson, Mass. She was the widow of David Ladner who died in 2007.

Surviving members of the family include: two sons, David C. Ladner of Rhonard Park, Calif. and Mark Ladner of Rochester, one daughter, Cheryl Ladner of Holton, Maine, one brother, Richard Hardy of Massachusetts, three sisters, Patricia Jolicoeur of Vero Beach, Fla., Susan Kolojay of Massachusetts and Donna Grimaldi of Connecticut, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
