Staff reports 6:55 a.m.
EAST LEBANON - The state Fire Marshal's Office is investigating a camper fire that spread and destroyed two vehicles and a storage trailer early Monday. Lebanon Fire and EMS responded around 1:14 a.m. to a reported structure fire located across from Trains Tavern. The fire was located on Creamery Hill Rd at Lucky Day Auto. When crews arrived they found a fully involved fire that appeared to have started in a camper trailer and then quickly spread to a large storage trailer adjacent to it, according to a statement from Lebanon Fire and Rescue. The tractor trailer body was filled with vehicle parts making access for crews inside difficult. The fire also destroyed a nearby car and SUV. No one was living in the camper, officials said. The fire was reported out around 2:20 a.m. A statement from Lebanon Fire and EMS said the fire is considered suspicious.
