Local moviemaker's works set for ROH film fest

ROCHESTER - An evening of short films will be presented at Rochester Opera House on Nov. 21, at 7:30 p.m. as screenwriter, director, SAG actor, and local attorney Alfred Thomas Catalfo brings us six short films of his creation.

Included is the web-sensation, "The Norman Rockwell Code", a comedic take on The Da Vinci Code.

Catalfo's short films have been screened across the United States and he has been a winner or finalist in 31 major screenwriting competitions with five different feature scripts. In addition to The Norman Rockwell Code, other shorts include the Hitchcockian thriller "The Stag Hunt"; an animated graphic novel, "Moonlight Bait" and "Ammo"; a faux infomercial parody for the boxing robot "Slam Man"; a supernatural historical fantasy, "Bighorn"; and the current Virgin Airlines inflight feature, "Rocketship."
