GONIC - Louise "Twiggy" Beaulieu, 88, died Friday, October 24, 2014 at Rochester Manor after a period of failing health.

Louise was born in Dover, NH on February 22, 1926, the daughter of Edmond and Bernice (Meserve) Mayrand and was a longtime resident of Gonic.

Prior to her retirement she worked at General Electric in Somersworth and then was employed and retired from her job at the Gonic School cafeteria.

She was a former Girl Scout Leader and started Troop 414 in Gonic. She enjoyed knitting, reading and taking care of her grandchildren.

She was the widow of Fabien Beaulieu who died in 2000. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of the Frisbie Memorial Hospital and the Rochester Manor for their care and support during this difficult time.

Surviving members of the family include: one son, Robert Beaulieu and his wife Corrine of Belmont, CA, one daughter, Patricia DiCesare of York, ME, three grandchildren, Timothy and Danielle DiCesare and Adrien F. Beaulieu. She also leaves one brother, Edmond Mayrand Jr. of Dover, NH as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
