ROCHESTER - Marjorie Louise Rowe (Corson), born on Dec. 16, 1923, in New Durham, died peacefully surrounded by her family on April 12, 2025, at the age of 101 in Rochester. Marjorie was the cherished daughter of Gladys Miller and Charles Corson. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Rowe and first husband Albert Foss Sr., who was her lifelong companion. She was also predeceased by her son Wayne Corson, and granddaughters Teri-Lee Corson and Kimberlee Hall. She is survived by her loving daughters, Sharon Hall and her husband Wayne, Linda Collins, and niece Beverly Wheeler all of Rochester. Marjorie's legacy continues through her 8 grandchildren - Bobby, Bonnie, Debbie, David, Tracey, Tarnya, Nichole, and Travis - along with 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. Marjorie spent many years dedicated to her work at Pease Air Force Base as a maid, but she found her true calling in life as a private caretaker for the elderly, a role that showcased her nurturing and compassionate nature. Known for her vibrant spirit, Marjorie was a longtime member of the Moose Lodge, where she enjoyed music and dancing in her younger days. She was known for her unique talent in yodeling, a skill she would modestly showcase when encouraged. She always took great pride in her appearance, always ensuring her hair, makeup, and jewelry were impeccably arranged. Her love for trips to Atlantic City, playing bingo, shopping and most importantly, spending time with her family, filled her life with happiness and laughter.
Marjorie's life was one of profound dedication to her family and those she cared for. Her legacy of love and care will live on through the many lives she touched.
