Milton rollover crash snarls downtown traffic for several hours on Thursday

MILTON - A rollover crash in Milton snarled downtown traffic for several hours on Thursday.

The accident occurred around 11:45 a.m. in front of the Dollar General-Dunkin Donuts plaza on White Mountain Highway just north of the Cumberland Farms.

The accident involved a white van that ended up rolled onto its side in the southbound lane.

During the accident investigation and cleanup, Milton and Farmington Police routed northbound traffic through the parking lot of the former Ray's Marine plaza and southbound traffic through the Dollar General plaza parking lot.

Milton Police on Thursday declined to give any details on the crash or possible injuries to the driver or drivers involved.

Milton Police Lt. Marc Cilley said no details are expected to be released until Monday.
