LEBANON - An arrest warrant has been issued for a Somersworth, N.H., woman who struck two Little River Road residents moments apart with separate vehicles before fleeing the scene with a friend.

Melissa St. Hillaire, no age or street address available, traveled to the residents’ home early Wednesday afternoon with the intent of stealing a vehicle she believed she had a right to, according to Maine State Police Trooper David Coflesky.

Upon attempting to steal the vehicle she was confronted and drove the car at and struck a female, then got back in the vehicle she arrived in and struck the woman’s husband who became involved in the fray.

The female victim was transported to an area hospital with what were described as nonlife-threatening injuries, while the man was treated at the scene.

Coflesky said little more information could be disclosed as the investigation was ongoing.

St. Hillaire is charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon.

The friend who accompanied her to the Little River Road home has not been charged in connection with the incident.
