North Main Street in downtown will see traffic slowdown for crosswalk work today

ROCHESTER - DPW will be doing work today to restore a pedestrian crosswalk on North Main Street, between Union and Wakefield streets

The work is expected to take place and be completed by the end of the day.

Temporary traffic control measures will be in place, including a lane closure around the work zone and a lane shift to allow through traffic. During this time, motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to consider alternate routes.
