PrintROCHESTER - Robert R. Grant, 88 of Rochester died Friday January 24, 2014 at the Rochester Manor.
He was born June 20, 1925 in Conway, New Hampshire the son of Robert and Helen (Grant) Grant and has resided in this area for many years.
He had worked as an assembler in various shoe shops.
Robert loved to hunt, enjoyed playing cards every day and also collected cans and bottles.
Members of his family include his brothers, Donald Grant of Somersworth, Eugene Grant of New Durham and Herbert Grant of Rochester; one sister, Eleanor Roy of Middleton; his sister-in-law, Claire Grant of Rochester; his good friend, Roger Carter of Rochester; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Chester, Albert, Nelson, Edna, Ruth and Ada.
The family would like to thank the staff of Rochester Manor for their kind and compassionate care.
