ROCHESTER - Shirley E Matotte, 66, of Hancock Street in Rochester died on January 24, 2014 at Frisbee Memorial Hospital.

Born in Portsmouth, on January 31, 1947, she was a daughter of Cecil and Letha (Grant) Currie. She was raised and attended local schools in Portsmouth.

On December 23,1968, she married her loving husband James Matotte and together they made homes in a number of duty stations as he served his country in the United States Air Force. Following his service they made their home in Palm Bay, Fla.

Shirley enjoyed her job and the many friends she made while employed at Woodlake Properties until her retirement in 2009.

She enjoyed trips to New England and Illinois each year to visit family.

Shirley is survived by her loving mother Letha Currie of Eliot; children James and Darren Matotte of Rochester, stepdaughter Christine Hall, grandchildren Amber, Autumn, Christian, Ethan, Katherine

Sisters; Joan Yoho of Portsmouth, Richard and Sue Currie Stratham, Donna Dube of Sanbornville, Brenda Currie of Barrington, many nieces, nephews and cousins and a sister Anita Shook and her husband Herman of York, Pa. She was predeceased by her dad and sister Anette Doll.
