SANFORD - Sanford Police today released surveillance footage from the last known contact and location of Kerry Rear, a Sanford woman missing since Jan 22. around 8 p.m.
She was reported missing by her father a week later on Jan. 29.
Rear was described as disoriented, wet, and in stocking feet the night she went to Lil' Mart in Sanford on that Sunday.
She believed she was in a bank, having two conversations with employees at the Lil' Mart and McDonald's before leaving the store.
Within minutes of leaving, she came back to the store and asked the same questions, inquiring about making a bank deposit and was last seen walking toward Country Club Road.
She was wearing brown sweatpants and a black puffy jacket with a pink-lined hood. Rear is 5'6", 130 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is asked to contact Sanford Police at 207-324-9170 and ask for Detective Small, extension 227.
