Portsmouth man jailed after DWI crash booking goes bad

ROCHESTER - A Portsmouth man is behind bars today after he was arrested in a DWI crash on Brock Street Tuesday night.

Police say Michael Kohl, 43, of Portsmouth, was traveling toward Route 125 around 10:40 p.m. when his vehicle left the roadway, jumped the curb and struck a metal fence.

After transport to the Rochester Police Station, Kohl became disruptive during the booking process and was transported to the Strafford County Jail pending an arraignment today in Rochester District Court.
