ROCHESTER - Rochester Pride is holding a poetry contest ahead of the annual Pride Festival in August.
The theme is "What does Pride mean to you?"
Participants can win a $50 Jetpack Comics gift card or two tickets to an Opera House production. Submit entries by email to rochesterprideog@gmail.com. The deadline is July 25.
The Rochester NH Pride Festival will be held on Aug. 2 from noon-3 p.m. in downtown Rochester. It is a family-friendly and pet-friendly event with live music, speakers, vendors, and activities.
