Obituaries placed in The Rochester Voice cost just $100.

That includes a photo, a flag if they are a veteran and notice of final arrangements.

In the Foster's or Portsmouth Herald it's about $1,300 for two days.

In the Voice, obituaries remain online for two weeks and are then archived for family viewing for years.
