ROCHESTER, NH - The Ridge Marketplace shopping complex will grow considerably on Thursday when a second Development Agreement is signed inside City Council chambers.

An additional 195,000 square feet of shopping and entertainment square footage is being added to the 310,000 square-foot retail space announced at a groundbreaking ceremony held at the site of The Ridge in April.

"The RIDGE Marketplace development represents a culmination of excellent partnerships between Waterstone Retail, the foresight of the City leadership and the community's enthusiastic support. The development raises the bar for commercial development for the region and secures Rochester's position as the hub of regional activity!" said Karen Pollard, Economic Development Manager.

According to a press release from the city's Economic Development Office, the Ridge will add 800-plus jobs and invest $40 million in facilities over the next three years.
