DOVER, N.H. - A Rochester man has been indicted in a domestic violence criminal threatening case.
Barry Burke, 34, with a last known address of 55 Ian's Way, faces up to 14 years in state prison if convicted on the two criminal threatening counts.
According to court documents Burke on May 22 swung a hammer toward the victim while saying, "You want to be a tough guy?"
Each count also carries a maximum fine of $4,000.
The Strafford County grand jury indictments were handed down on Oct. 15 and released on Tuesday.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that a grand jury has found sufficient evidence to warrant a trial.
