The City of Rochester has opened an emergency shelter for residents affected by the current power outage. The shelter is at the Rochester Middle School located at 47 Brock St, Rochester.

There are shower facilities at the shelter, as well as overnight sleeping accommodations.

Residents are reminded to bring their personal necessities with them.
