Rochester woman hurt in Tuesday crash listed in fair condition at Maine Med
Harrison Thorp 12:54 p.m. ROCHESTER - The Rochester woman injured in a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday remains in fair condition today at Maine Medical Center in Portland. Wendy Hatfield, 49, was Medflighted from Skyhaven Airport by a DHART helicopter to Maine Med after she was severely injured around 9:50 a.m. when her car veered off Leonard Street and struck a tree. Rochester Police say speed was a factor in the crash. Hatfield, who was the only occupant in the vehicle, a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox, was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, police said. The accident remains under investigation.
