ROCHESTER - A Rochester woman was injured and a Goffstown man was arrested for DUI after he rear-ended her vehicle on Farmington Road Tuesday afternoon.

The crash occurred around 3:15 p.m. in the area of Lilac City Pediatrics when police say Kerrie Landry, 46, was stopped in traffic waiting to make a left turn in front of the doctors' office in her 2016 Toyota RAV4 when she was struck from behind by a 2011 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Kenneth Brown, 63.

Landry was taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what were described as nonlife threatening injuries.

Based on an investigating officer's observations of Brown at the scene, he was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence. During the booking process, Brown cooperated with the investigating officer and more information came to light that he may have been experiencing a medical issue at the time of the collision.

The investigation into the crash continues.

Both vehicles sustained significant damage and had to be towed from the scenes. Both operators were wearing seat belts at the time.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Ofc. Justin Worthley or Ofc. Charles Pendlebury at 330-7128.
