SHARE fund seeking new directors to head up leadership team

ROCHESTER - The SHARE Fund is seeking new members to join its Board of Directors as the organization prepares for an upcoming leadership transition at the end of the year.

Through programs such as a food pantry, clothing shop, diaper bank, and emergency financial assistance, the SHARE Fund provides critical support for essentials like food, housing, utilities, and clothing. Guided by a mission to offer both immediate relief and a path toward long-term self-sufficiency, the organization serves as a vital resource for neighbors in need across the Greater Rochester area.

The SHARE Fund Board is made up of volunteers who are passionate about supporting the Rochester community. The organization is especially interested in welcoming individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences to ensure the board remains diverse, engaged, and representative of the community it serves.

Board membership includes approximately six meetings per year. In accordance with the organization's bylaws, members must have a connection to the Greater Rochester area.
