Sharon A. Lance, 76, of Rochester, died on April 19, 2019, surrounded by her family at Colonial Hill Center.

Sharon was born July 15, 1942 in Rochester, the daughter of Salvatore and Shirley (Rogers) Lance. Sharon resided in Rochester her entire life. She worked most of her life locally in the shoe industry. She was a big fan of Elvis, enjoyed summer days at the beach or lake, enjoyed the Rochester Fair, she loved to bake, dance and to craft. Most of all, Sharon loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and her beloved dog Megan.

Sharon is survived by her daughters, Deborah Dagan and husband David of Berwick, ME and Cheryl Cormier of Rochester; son Raymond Cardin Jr. and wife Bernice, of Rochester; mother, Mary Tucker and husband Sonny of Alton; sisters, Donna Bassett and husband Ben of Alton Bay, and Larona Jarest and husband Gary of Pittsfield; brothers, Mark Lance and wife Linda of Gilmanton, Gary Lance of Fort Collins, CO, Kenny Lance and significant other Ann Richard of New Durham.

Sharon also leaves behind grandchildren Jessica Cormier Dwinells, Melissa Cormier June, Jamie Cardin, Justin Cardin, Deanna Bolling and husband David, Roxanne King, Ashley Cardin, and Anthony Cardin. She will also be missed by her great grandchildren Danica, Ethan, David, Alan, Deannica, Richard, JR, Samuel, Daelynn, and Darcy; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her father Salvatore Lance, birth mother Shirley Lance, longtime companion Edward Harvey, sister Sylvia Vincent Harmon and son-in-law Roland Cormier.
