SOMERSWORTH - Somersworth Police said today they have been unable to make an arrest but continue to make headway in their investigation into last Monday's armed robbery at the Irving Circle K Gas Station on High Street.

"We're getting some leads that we're following up on," Somersworth Police Capt. Matthew Duval told The Rochester Voice today.

According to a police release last week, a suspect entered the premises shortly after midnight on Monday, walked up to the counter and demanded all the money before fleeing on foot.

The man did not show a weapon but gestured as if he had one in his pocket, police say.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned male wearing a black puffy jacket with a white hooded sweatshirt underneath and black and red plaid pattern pajama-style pants and black and white Nike Dunks. His face was covered by a yellow bandanna.

Somersworth Police continue asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect. If anyone has info please contact Det. Sgt. DeFrancesco at Somersworth Police at 603.692.2928 or Seacoast Crime Stoppers at 603.431.1199. Rewards of up to $1,000 can be paid if the info leads to the arrest or indictment of a suspect.
