CONCORD - A Concord man was arrested on multiple charges following a pursuit that ended with a crash in Pittsfield.

State Police got involved around 2:15 a.m. on Saturday after they received a report of a driver who took off after Concord Police tried to initiate a traffic stop for misuse of plates. A trooper responded to assist, locating the vehicle, a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox, which failed to stop again, initiating a pursuit, according to a Dept. of Safety press release.

The pursuit ended there, when the driver crashed into a tree by the intersection of Dowboro and Western Mills roads.
