ROCHESTER - Suzanne "Sue" Marie McGlauflin, who was born in Central Falls, R.I., resided in Rochester, and who lived a full life, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday January 9, 2022.
Sue graduated from Timberlane High School and always had a desire to travel. She joined the Air Force specializing in Communications and lived in Greece and other places here in the US. In addition to raising a family with her husband Robert "Bob" McGlauflin, Sue worked in the medical field as a CNA, which she very much enjoyed. Over the past 13 years, Sue shared her life with William "Bill" Sheppard. They had a strong and loving partnership. Throughout her years, Sue consistently shared her gifts of hospitality, helping and supporting those in need and engaging in many selfless acts of kindness, which made a lasting and meaningful impact on the lives of others. Sue loved music, had a beautiful voice, and this musical ability was passed on to her children and grandchildren. Sue also loved animals, especially dogs, the outdoors and looked forward to cruises on Lake Winnipesaukee or rides to Castle in the Clouds in the Fall, when the NH mountains were ablaze with color. Sue loved life! To be sure, the greatest treasures in Sue's life were her faith, family and spending time with those she loved so well. We will all miss her dearly and cherish the years we were blessed to have her with us. She is home now, in the presence of the One who gave her life and reunited with loved ones who completed their journey before her. We will always love and never forget you!
