Three Mass. men arrested in Sanford coke trafficking case

SANFORD, Maine - Police here say three Massachusetts men were charged on Thursday with selling cocaine. The three arrested include Guydalbert Elie, 40, of Malden, Huberson Sylne, 40, of Revere and JeanSamuel Merlain, 40 of Boston. All three were charged with aggravated trafficking in cocaine due to the amount of drug seized. The men were arrested following a Sanford area investigation that revealed drugs were regularly being transported to several locations in Sanford from Massachusetts. The drugs would then be distributed in southern Maine by local distributors. The three men were arrested without incident and transported to the York County Jail where bail was set at $25,000 each.
