Three sought in Walmart DVD theft case

ROCHESTER - Rochester Police are looking for the public's help in solving an attempted theft case at Walmart involving more than $1,100 worth of DVDs.

Police say three suspects went into the store last Tuesday and tried to walk out with the DVDs, but ran off empty-handed after being confronted by store personnel.

The three escaped in a in a beige Buick Century with Maine plates, which store personnel recorded and provided to police, Rochester Police Capt. Gary Boudreau said today.

The three suspects face felony charges and potential jail time if convicted.
