UPDATE: Victim who died in single-vehicle crash ID'd as Alfred woman
Staff reports 1:30 p.m. ALFRED, Maine - State Police say an Alfred woman was killed this morning when her car hit a tree in Alfred. The woman killed has been identified as 52-year old April Robinson. The accident took place just before 7:30 a.m. on Whichers Mills Road when police say her car left the roadway and struck the tree. Police say there was no apparent cause for why the car left the road.
