ACTON - A Springvale man was seriously injured Sunday when his motorcycle lost control and went off the road in Acton.
Coady Smith, 23, was riding in the area of 300 Hopper Road around 1 p.m. when his bike left the roadway and landed amid a group of trees, according to the York County Sheriff's Office.
Smith, who was operating a 2012 Victory motorcycle, sustained a serious leg injury and was flown by helicopter to Maine Medical Center in Portland for treatment.
A Maine Med spokesperson said today Smith was no longer listed as a patient at the hospital.
