To the editor:

Read your Opinion piece about the governor's comment last week. Regardless of what the PPH may or may have not done, The comment was just one more of his thoughtless remarks that made it across the country. PPH (Portland Press Herald) clarifies way too many articles with a statement about Sussman owning a large share and being married to Chellie Pingree. So, anyone who reads it already knows that. 

You can defend the gov if you want but his off-hand remarks are embarrassing and demeaning.
