A wellspring of hope for the performing arts as Wellfleet takes stage at ROH

ROCHESTER - The Rochester Opera House celebrated today's return to the stage with one last virtual concert on Saturday as the band Wellfleet played a live online concert to benefit the Rochester Performance and Arts Center.

Other venues that can open today under the governor's guidelines include movie theaters, amusement parks, arts and music education and adult day care centers.

Meanwhile, RPAC is wasting no time getting back to business with its Summer Youth Theater Camp set to begin on July 6.

The camps comprise three 10-day workshops beginning with Broadway Bound Kids on July 6 for ages 7-12, Triple Threat Teens on July 20 for ages 12-17 and All Age Center Stage on Aug. 3 for ages 8-14.

All classes will be under the governor's guidance of social distancing and hand sanitizing directives.

Meanwhile in Concord, state DHHS officials on Sunday announced 31 new positive test results for COVID-19, including one from Strafford County with three new hospitalizations and no additional deaths.
