How can Kamala Harris be the candidate of hope and change when her administration has been in charge of the border for more than three and a half years during which time illegal crossings of unvetted migrants skyrocketed 400 percent under the border czar's watch.
This is gaslighting at its most exquisite.
For years she's said she wanted illegal border crossings decriminalized, with free health care, education, housing and food to illegal migrants from all over the world.
According to a House Committee on Homeland Security, more than 10 million illlegal crossings have been reported this fiscal year alone, and that doesn't account for gotaways.

Key Facts:
• Since President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas took office, there have been more than 9.5 million encounters nationwide and more than 7.8 million encounters at the Southwest border.
• U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recorded 247,837 encounters nationwide in April, including 179,725 at the Southwest border (SWB). SWB encounters increased 5% compared to April of Fiscal Year (FY) 2021. Additionally, nearly 2 million known gotaways have evaded U.S. Border Patrol under this administration.
• Since January 2023, 591,000 individuals have scheduled appointments with the app.
• Since the program began, 434,800 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans have been mass paroled under the administration's CHNV parole program.
• Since FY21, 362 aliens on the terrorist watchlist have been caught crossing our Southwest border illegally.
• Encounters at the northern border in April of FY24 increased 1,240% compared to April of FY21. It's clear that the Democrats are looking to get as many illegals into the country as they can.
After they've accomplished that their NGO partners will follow up with educating them on how to seek a pathway to voting so they can affect our November election.
Want some proof?
In Alabama thousands of registered voters who have previously been identified as noncitizens by the federal government will have their registration status changed to inactive, the secretary of state announced ealier this month.
The move prompted quick opposition from voter rights advocates. Gee, I wonder if those who objected might be Democrats, or worse yet, socialists, or even communists.
As Democrat Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walz says, some call it socialism, other call it "being neighborly."
Those kind of neighbors I don't need.
Prominent Democrats and voting rights activists across the country have pushed back against national legislation that would require proof of citizenship to register to vote, citing pre-existing legislation that makes it a federal crime to vote as a noncitizen, and concerns that eligible voters will be disenfranchised.
In New Hampshire a bill that will go into effect after the general election will do just that. Voters seeking to register to vote will have to show a birth certificate, passport or some other proof of citizenship.
Too bad that weren't in effect for November's tilt. We'd all feel more comfortable.
For this elections, however, folks looking to vote in New Hampshire merely have to "attest" on an affidavit that they are a citizen and they can stroll on in to the polls and pull the lever.
Can you imagine being able to go into a liquor store and merely "attest" you're 21 and get some booze?
Can you imagine you could go into a bank and get a $100,000 loan based on an affidavit you sign that says you make $100,000 a year?
The answer to both is obviously no, so why do we treat the privilege of voting in our elections so shoddily. Like no worries, mate. Very few people vote illegally. Methinks those who feel that way doth protest too much!
The opening up of the border is squarely on the shoulders of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. They own it.
Kamala is not the agent of change. She's the agent of ruin.
