Annual awards banquet planned for April at The Oaks

ROCHESTER - The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce will present its "Wired for Fun - Connecting the Community" Annual Dinner and Awards Banquet on April 4 from 5-8:30 p.m., underwritten by Eversource and Service Credit Union.

This elegant evening celebrating business success, comes complete with dinner, awards and entertainment, taking place at The Oaks Grandview Ballroom in Somersworth. Corporate sponsors for the banquet are Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics, Atlantic Broadband, Daystar, Inc., Laars Heating Systems Company, Profile Bank and Waste Management.

The Annual Dinner & Awards Banquet begins with a Social at 5 p.m., sponsored by Eastern Propane & Oil. During this time, complimentary photos will be offered to guests, courtesy of Tanya Lee Hervey Photography. Registration of guests is being sponsored by Shaheen and Gordon. Event programs will be distributed to guests attending, sponsored by Verizon Wireless - Amcomm Wireless. A brief program prior to dinner will include the presentation of the 2020 Citizen of the Year.

Following dinner, presentations of the 2020 Business of the Year and 2020 Non-Profit of the Year will take place, sponsored by Index Packaging, Inc. and Lydall Performance Materials. The technology for the evening will be sponsored by D.F. Richard Energy.

Dinner choices include prime rib, Tuscan chicken or a vegetarian option prepared by The Oaks. Desserts are co-sponsored by Cornerstone VNA, Monarch School of New England and Rochester Truck. After dinner coffee will be sponsored by Polychronis Financial Services. Attendees will be treated to musical entertainment throughout the evening, provided by the Scharff Brothers, co-sponsored by Hervey's Tire Co., Norman Vetter, Inc., and Unitil. Making the event festive, decorations are being sponsored by Bank of New Hampshire and centerpieces provided on each of the tables are sponsored by Holy Rosary Credit Union.

First Seacoast Bank will sponsor a grand prize raffle, where one lucky winner will take home $1,500 cash. Tickets are on sale now for $2 each or a book of 6 for $10. You do not need to be present to win. Tickets for this raffle can be purchased at the Chamber office or online at www.rochesternh.org/Banquet.

The Annual Dinner & Awards Banquet is open to Chamber members and their guests. The cost to attend is $70 per person. Tickets are limited and are on a first come, first serve basis.
