Annual free comic book day scheduled for May 6

ROCHESTER - Rochester Main Street announce recently that Jetpack Comics & Games is now seeking businesses to sign up for Free Comic Book Day 2023. The event will take place on May 6 starting at 10 a.m.

Free Comic Book Day is the biggest event in the comic book industry -- a single day when participating comic book specialty shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their shops. Founded on the belief that for every person out there, there's a comic book they'll love, the annual event offers a huge selection of free titles designed to appeal to a broad range of age levels and tastes.

Interested business owners and managers are encouraged to visit jetpackcomics.com to download the form. Payments and completed forms must be received by April 1.

According to organizers, the sooner completed forms and payments are received, the sooner they will be listed on the website and map. Submissions received after April 1 will be included on the website but not on the map.
