ROCHESTER - Rochester's National Night Out will take place on Aug. 5 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Spaulding High School Torr's Park, also known as "the triangle".

Part of a nationwide celebration held throughout the United States, Rochester's National Night Out aims to strengthen police-community relationships and promote crime prevention.

This year's event will feature over 20 local organizations and businesses, as well as local food vendors and live music. Families can enjoy a variety of activities, including a petting zoo, pony rides, and a "touch a safety vehicle" experience for young children.

Following the main event, a free family-friendly movie will be hosted by Guyer Travel International from 8:30-10 p.m.

To host a provider table or reserve a space as a food vendor, contact event coordinator Nicole Rodler, Rochester Police Department, at (603) 330-7149 or nicole.rodler@rochesternh.gov for more information.
