Arrest warrant issued for city man after he skips plea and sentencing hearing

DOVER - An arrest warrant has been issued for a Rochester man who skipped his plea and sentencing hearing on Tuesday that involved arrests for trafficking and possessing drugs in 2023 and 2024.
Thomas J. Marshall, 37, of Wakefield Street, was arrested by Rochester Police on Feb. 27, 2023, and again on March 1, 2024.
The second arrest resulted in felony charges of drug trafficking (meth), drug possession and a misdemeanor count for disconnecting a DWI interlock device.
According to his four-page case history in the 2024 arrest, Marshall was scheduled for trial on Aug. 4 but that was canceled due to the plea agreement set for Tuesday, which he skipped, accordihng to the prosecutor in the case.

Marshall was also indicted in April 2024 on charges that he possessed more than five grams of methamphetamine when he was arrested in Rochester on Aug. 27, 2023.
The charges in that arrest were not addressed in Tuesday's plea agreement.
