ROCHESTER - Arthur F.B. Walsh, 82, died Sunday March 15, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family, following a period of failing health.

Born February 16, 1933, in Boston, Mass. he was the son of the late Adelbert and Evelyn (Harris) Walsh.

Mr. Walsh served his country with honor and dignity in the US Air Force during the Korean conflict. He later worked as a supervisor at the Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard.

Arthur was a communicant of St. Mary Catholic Church in Rochester. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 1393, VFW Post 1772 and the DAV of Farmington, N.H. He was also a past president of the IBEW Local 2071.

He enjoyed listening to music, dancing, reading, writing, taking rides with his wife of 56 years Ruth, and playing games with his family who he really enjoyed and loved so much.

Members of his family include his wife Ruth (Carter) Walsh of Rochester, N.H.; His children Patrick Walsh and wife Judith of Derry, N.H.; Kellie Daigneault and husband David of Rochester, NH; and Shaun Walsh and wife Joanne of Hudson, Maine; his granddaughter Kelbre Roberts of Rochester, N.H.; who was very special to him, and he adored with all his heart. One sister Patricia Drown of Glendale, OR; several nieces and nephews, his dog Rusty, and his cat Taffy, and several longtime devoted friends.

He was predeceased by his son Francis J. Walsh, and siblings Dell, Alan, and Wayne Walsh and Joan Hall.
